I like the AMX 2-seaters,

but I think my favorite AMC performance car (for drag racing) by FAR is the S/C Rambler.

They remind me of the mid-sixties Comet and Nova II, lightweight but very conducive for race mods.
Put a built AMC V-8 in one and hang on! Better yet, a Gen 3 Hemi if it would fit, with a Procharger or Turbo!
