Frying noise from steering wheel?

I spoke with Bergman today. He said they started porting the inlet and outlet before they shipped them for this reason. The hose seats and the holes in the casting don’t quite line up,he said it can be fixed in the car. Take the hoses off and dry things out then look through the holes,should see the areas that need blended. My box is 2-1/2 years old,only got in the car this past spring. It’s nice when a person will answer your texts and calls.

Though blend the holes in the casting, wouldnt that produce lots of metal shavings?
It sounds like it should be done on a bench with a good cleaning afterwards.

I would think so,he says do it in the car. When I get to mine,I’ll see how much room there is to plug the hole,maybe some grease to catch chips. I have some shop vac hose adapters that go down to the size around a large straw. We’ll see.
