fuel line replacement?

on my 63 dodge 440 i replaced the fuel with a replacement line made to fit... worked well ? is i didnt have much of a line left of the factory line to compare to. after it comes along the frame rail, it stops mid way a ways from the pump... what does a factory line from the tank to the pump look like...

Can't say for sure on a 63, but my 66-69 cars stop along the frame rail right around the lower control arm. It's just hose from there.

Meep is right, it's just a rubber hose from the point. Here is my 64... metal fuel line isn't in it's final position but you get the idea.
