Hi!

Fuel leaking from the sender unit seal on my 1966 belvedere, so I have the new ring and rubber. BUT can it be changed without taking the tank out?

It seems very tight to the rear axle casing, but dreading having to touch the tank as I'll need to get all new rubbers no doubt!

Thanks!

Gerry

You can do it with tank in but I yanked my tank out.
My app is a 70 B-body

I thought removing the tank was easy!

Jack the car up by the rear axle, put jack stands under the frame, then lower the axle so you can get at the fuel sending unit with tank in the car. THat's how I did my '69 Bee.

Please let us know if your fuel gauge is accurate with the new sending unit. If so, post a link to the part you bought so I can get one.

Thanks
