Full resto or paint and drive?

Ok! Thanks guys. I needed a reality check. The car gets compliments and attention all the time. believe it or not its been out of the garage twice in 2 yrs. Gave $400 for it and rebuilt the trans so all together $1000 invested.

I agree with most of the folks so far. Nothing is more detrimental to guys in this hobby than getting in over their financial heads, available time heads, or spouse approval heads, trying to do a full resto when what they really wanted was a car that was fun to drive. That invariably ends up with a quarter-done car sitting in the backyard waiting for a buyer to come along and offer a purchase price that's about half what the owner dumped into it. "Done right" restos have their value and benefits, but unless a full resto fits your needs and wants, they are a total waste of time and money these days as values are dropping like a stone.

Do you car the way you want it and enjoy it.
