Those who defend him even after all the messages posted should maybe point out to Galen that he could improve his 'service' in many areas.
There are many people out there who have been left without either the information they sought, or the money they paid to gain such information.

I just got my report and it only took 9 months. Maybe because I just kept after Diane regularly and made a pest out of myself pushed it along. Maybe if those who haven't gotten theirs would call once a week or so just to ask when would help. Don't be an ***. She's good at promises. I don't know if she isn't doing it or if she is just overwhelmed with work. Hate to see a guy with all that knowledge disappear.

My brother registered his 71 duster with GTS at least 10 ..maybe closer to 15 years ago.
For a tag breakdown and a window sticker. He even supplied the original selling dealers info.
To this day.....he's received Nothing

I wouldn't call how he operates now, a business, per se. We all get old and weary. And once the money for a job is spent, one loses motivation for even foreplay.
I trust the guys here more than Galen. Here you have a lot guys that know a lot.. Galen claims to be god and knows it all.. No one man can know what several hundred know.

I know what you mean. Too bad somebody could learn what Galen knows. I've lost 2 machinists who were brilliant but didn't have the time or will to pass on that knowledge. Then it's gone. One even told me he couldn't find the alloy he wanted so he mixed his own. Knowledge like that don't come out of a book.

To often I've seen companies run machinists & highly skilled techs into the ground because they have jobs that need to get completed... Not realizing they should find someone capable of and enthusiastic about absorbing some of the skills & knowledge... Skilled senior machinists & technical people don't have time to pass on knowledge because they are often so loaded with work that needs to get out the door today & they lack the energy to put in more hours trying to teach someone who isn't smart enough to appreciate the gift of a technical education... In the modern world everyone wants a college degree & an IT job... Tech skills are severely under appreciated... As those skills become more rare things may change but once the skills are lost it's gonna be tough to get them back...
