Fort Pulaski. 18 years to build and defeated in 2 days.
Tybee Island. Captain Derek Dolphin cruise. Saw plenty but only got a picture of the fake one.

Very little English spoken these parts. Either Spanglish (like home), Russian or some Eastern Block Crapistanish or the Southern Drawl to the nines. Linda didn’t get saaahds (sides?) from the waitress so many times we almost had to leave.
Groups traveling with more than 5 are a PAIN IN THE ***. PIA in the restaurant, shithouse, or wherever they are currently parked. We may be the only ones on the road without dogs or kids. Dogs are mostly under control. Kids are not. World is their playground. Running around on the boat and jumping on and off moving golf carts. Little Bastards are everywhere. Noisy and destructive.

Other fellow travelers and the help can be really great. Like whoever left the extra Oxiclean Pods in the laundry room for those of us without enough quarters. Thank you.

St Simons Island. Hand car wash adjacent to the Hampton. Linda says she will drive now that I curb-rashed the right rear wheel. Beautiful must see part of the Country.
The Trees! The bridges. The Golden Isles.
Took 84 West leaving. Overnight in Lake Park, Ga. Valdosta Hotels are full.

How did the curb rash happen Dennis? I hope you were hot footin' it as you took a corner too sharp (I've done that myself) and not distracted by some of the local talent walking by (have had this happen as well)

After missing a navigation turn, I turned too soon on the next one and ended up in a private driveway. It exited the highway at a blind curve. Multiple lanes. Finally got a break to sneak out with a guy coming in the number one lane. Turned short and kissed it hard under acceleration. Looks to be cosmetic.

Madison and Greenville Florida today. 84 West and 19 South to ourselves. Found out that Ray Charles was born in Florida. Keaton Beach a beautiful and uncrowded place.
Crystal River nice and on the Gulf. Most Hotels full. Staying at an $84 shithouse tonight in Homosassa, Florida. The Bella Oasis Hotel and Spa. Jesus Chrysler.

Churches. Everywhere. No traffic for hours, then a 40 minute traffic jam at an intersection. No detector loops.
