Golden Goddess heart surgery

Clear coat is on the roof. One of my hood scoop inserts had an issue with the clear coat yesterday, so it looks like I get to redo it, or just leave it, idk yet

Todays update is going to be full if middle school humor

2 of my keystone center caps didn’t have the decal on them. I couldn’t find a replacement, but I stumbled across someone selling the Plymouth heart logo as a “center cap” decal. Well I was disappointed in the size, it’s a little small………also I finished cleaning up the over spray.

Another busy day. All the side and front trim is back on. The rear however….so much damn silicone, and when you think it’s good, nope. It’s been a long day, and I’ll call it over, I’ll get back to the trim another time……hopefully before it’s trip Friday

Your work on the roof really transforms the car. Great job.

Far from good, but good from far which was the goal

I was so tired of looking at rust. She had the most beautiful body, but the head of Abe Lincoln (hopefully y’all get the movie reference,) Now she looks like a complete car

carpet is tossed in, going to let it settle while we go to lunch. But I would like to know how far forward the carpet is suppose to be, this seems a little too far

I definitely overworked myself but my brother could stay for so long. Still need to trim up the front foot area. And some other little things. But damn, it’s like a completely different car

Went to our island labor day cruise in on the east side of the island. Saw this corvette there, thought you would like it.

I knocked out a bunch of little things, and got the scoops back on, the shop lighting kinda sucks. And then the glue holding the hood structures together isn’t doing that anymore. So I redid, now I’m going to poke fun at oem guys, does it look crude? Yes! Is that how the factory did it? Yes!

I think you captured the '70s for sure. Being that I lived it, looking at what you've done and all the added "accessories" from the era, it takes me back. I really miss those days.

Well done
Thank you, eventually I’ll get it all back together, and I’ll get good pictures of it all together, in good light, not under the carport at night lights.

I keep working until dark, then I step back and go…
