So, for years(started the sentence with So, just for Kern Dog's enjoyment, or maybe it was Hawk, oh well), my feet have been messed up, specifically and most painfully, my toes. Had hammer toes and then dropped a coil spring from 5 feet up onto my right foot. It's why I was always wearing worn out, disgusting shoes as most would really aggravate my feet and cause pain, so I stuck with what didn't hurt. After hurting for over 16 years, I finally went in and let the doc carve me up some. Can't drive since it's my right foot and the ironman boot takes up so much room, I can't safely get my left foot onto the pedals. So I sit here on the couch bored shi!less. Pins come out next Friday.

Been there and done that, when I fell off a ladder building my garage. I shattered my heel into 5 pieces! I have a titanium plate with seven screws holding my heel together. It hasn't been right since. Hurts everyday!

Man, I sure hope mine doesn't. I am sure this isn't going to be cheap, and it would suck if the pain didn't go away. Sorry to hear about yours.

And to top it off, the tailor's bunion fix involved putting 2 small screws into that outside bone connected to my little toe, and that bone broke later that same day. Must have had a hairline fracture and my dumbass was banging around all day on it not using crutches. No one told me that he had numbed my foot, and it lasted for over 12 hours, so I didn't feel it break. That extened my recovery by about 2 to 4 weeks. It sucks.

Thanks, the foot surgeon said this is either gonna be good,or it's not and it's going to bother you all the time. That was 18 years ago.

Sorry to hear about that. The less you aggravate it, the better the outcome. Hopefully.
So,, since you're bored... :D

Well this happened to me last week
image.jpg
11 stitches smashed between a motor and bracket on engine stand

I hope that you do well after it fully heals too
here's to a full & speedy recovery
:drinks:

Maybe catch up on your on-demand/or DVR car shows,
if you do that sort of ****
it may help frustrate you or keep you entertained for a while
a couple hrs a day at least...

Dont rush let them heal. Hope all gos well for you. Time to binge watch something.

We're living proof, nothing last forever. Best part is you'll be done with it, worst part, you'll wish you had done it sooner. LOL. Get Well!!

Had to wear one myself last year. Sucks for sure but the results should be well worth it.
I had big toe joint fusion on my right foot.
After 3 to 4 weeks it was feeling pretty good, After 6 weeks it was great. I'm glad I got it fixed.

Well, you are on the mend now. It's just frustrating having to sit knowing you've got stuff to do. I can relate. Layed up for 2 months plus, from neurosurgery, before I could very slowly start at least doing walks with the dogs and homeowner stuff. At about 4 months I could at least get to working on the 65. All of the rocks are out.

Did the ortho thing on my right hand in 2018. Really helped. Decided to go ahead and get the right hand addressed last March. After several bouts of Covid symptoms finally got it done first part of April. Then, the third week of April I had a heart attack.. Doing much better now.
