Mar Par that's not the Phantasm car either, I don't think any way, no wide rear tires fender flares or sun roof...

I WANT to love the show. I really do. I guess my problem is I treat people with respect while Mark is just a worm.

Ok ok I didnt know these guys were in Eugene...LOL

been watching a few shows of it lately and it does start to grow on you a bit ... it helps when he smiles to let you know he was just kidding

Well as most here, I've watched the show and have hated most of it but have still tuned in. Just to get a glimpse of the opening shots, that 67 GTX is killer even though it's a 1.5 second shot. I do have to say though, they do seem to be leaning toward showing more of the actual work and less on the grab *** crap, lately. That Worman dud (that's right, I said dud) is full of himself and almost makes me puke. Who cares if his daughter is getting married?? Nothing to do with the cars. What goes through my mind is "we finally get a Mopar only show, and this is what it's about'? Can't we get something that's credible??
I do have to say though, we are only seeing what's put on tv and what is that? 12 hours of a 3 month period? They must get something done or else they would be done.
Although I did get sick of him endorsing any shop tool or equipment producer that would give him free stuff just for the free promotion. I guess that's one way to get 150k worth of stuff.

I think the idea of the show is good idea but it has too much screwing around and seems like nothing gets done. I don't understand why they don't flip it and do more cars with some drama instead of drama with almost no cars. I hardly watch it. I prefer Wrecks to Riches or Desert Valley car kings. At least they balance the drama/car stuff. And for no drama, all car, Wheeler Dealers

Concur. I love wheeler dealers

Finally, WD gettin some much deserved love.

Although this season is going a bit funny, with them getting more exotics, and shipping over some high dollar American cars, while only making a couple hundred on the deal.

Seems like they say "I can't believe we just bought a _____" on nearly every show.
Like it's just for the fact of them being able to say "I once owned a ____".
(although that's how I feel about Harleys and Corvettes.. I'd buy one and keep it a few weeks, just to say I owned one- and before expensive things started breaking that cost more than the value)

I too got tired of the praise of the parts received. Most of the panels I have received from the same suppliers need work to make fit properly. You will never hear any praise from me while installing the same parts, only %^&%$#^&* from my mouth. BTW, I have not seen GYCars on lately.

Hello everyone,
Sorry I haven’t been on in a couple months. In full swing of making Season III which, of course you will see some revisions thanks to some input provided by some members here. I’d like to verify what Tom (R4Daytona) has said. The production of this show done out of my own pocket, with no Production or Technical help from the network. The help I get is from the viewers and people like yourselves so I takes a little time to see changes. Filming is done MONTHS before the show airs. Unfortunately, there are some, that for whatever reason, no matter what I do, will not like the show. They will hate it just for the sake of hating it. There are just some people like that. Just comes with the turf so to speak. This show has, and does, appeal to a much larger demographic than just us car guys (and girls). We are always trying to improve though.

I do run a traditional shop while building this show. That extra bit of business helps with the bills. I’m sure plenty of you have shops or have worked at one so you can understand what I mean. I’m not rich, I’m just a guy who loves Mopars who thought of giving this a try ….. and I had to learn everything myself! From knowing what kind of cameras to buy, to how to film, edit and produce it in the format acceptable to the network. The format that must be followed looks something like and video/ electronics physic’s manual. I know, odd description, but it’s very intimidating to read and understand.

As I posted on my Facebook page we do have Bill Goldbergs GTX convertible here. Very cool car and very cool guy! We also have the jump car from the Dukes of Hazzard movie and talk about a contrast, a 68 slant six to a 70 hemi charger! The AAR turned out great and I hope Chris enjoys the final assembly. He wanted to do that. The Black 71 is gone and burning up the road I hope and the Daytona is looking awesome!

You know that phrase “you gotta walk before you can run”? I guess you can say I feel like we’ve been walking but are starting to step it up a bit. Season III we will hopefully be running!
Mark

I still love every minute of the show and have followed it from day one before he even had it on TV

Good info there ^^^^ trying being a shop owner/ classis car restorer and TV director/producer/actor all at the same time....

Well then Mark, I appreciate your effort to produce this show. But please throw me a bone once in a while. I love my Mopars, and want to learn as much as I can about them. But I usually walk away from your show feeling that you just wasted my time. Drama from you, drama from the cast. Feels like a bunch of women sometimes. Lets get some work done! I want to learn from you! You obviously have some great knowledge of these cars, share it! I'm a nuts and bolts guy and want to learn how its done from a professional like you! This ain't OCC, we don't need that drama. We are a group of fans of an ever dwindling supply of classic Mopars. The fact that you can bring some of them back from "deaths door" is great! Do what you do, and do it well. Please show us how you do what you do. More detail, less drama.

Me X 6. if your such a car guy, why all the grab *** crap?? Nope I don't believe that stuff. That's all a tv producer angle to a show, not a real car guy's view on the world

)

WD is doing a show called trading up that looks like a good show where he deals from basic to super car while traveling. Can't wait.

Hopefully GC will be better this season coming up. I'll give it a view and decide then

Thomas

Who cares about the co-workers....they give him crap and he gives it back...
just hope we can see some actual work.....I am always eager to get something out of it, & thirsty for info!......no drama

Give the guy a break.. he is still learning how to do this and lets face it.. there is a learning curve. It needs to be entertaining to attract more than the handful of mopar guys that are left.. So I can understand where all that is coming from now. No one bashed him more than I did and it was due to my ignorance of the show. Now that I know it his own money and him doing to editing and producing I have a different outlook of it. If someone here can do a better job than I suggest you go ahead and pony up the money and lets see it.... :)
Otherwise lets get behind this guy and offer good advice. I know thats what some of you intended but lets do it in a more better way with less criticism and more constructive advice... scotts74birds worded it very very nicely, we could all take lesson.. especially me from him

Finally a post I can get behind. THANKS 99ss. I've really been disappointed in my Mopar brothers regarding the bashing of this show. Between my three friends and I we are currently restoring/modifying 6 Mopars and I promise you, we joke around just as much as Worman and only dream of putting out an equally quality product.

Well said 99ss....everyone likes to complain, lets see them do better!

If it dealt with cars and not personal BS I would watch it. I was looking forward to it a few years ago, and watch just about every episode on Youtube. but problem is he spends more time on the shop being an pain, and fighting with his employees. Plus Mark is a very smart MOPAR guy, but it all in his attitude that kills the show for me.
