Graveyard is the only show that I believe is tolerable, with great info on the build process. I've saved (youtube) numerous episodes which outline key steps and required parts needed, which cant be found on other "reality shows". Just my unwarranted two cents.

However, there are some great youtube channels geared towards our old mopars.

Its gotten better over the years. Mark and team do a good job on the cars and do offer a lot of personality. I don't care for the drama on the earlier shows.....and think they got away from that.

I tried watching when it first came out, but the endless bickering between Worm man and the others was unbearable. I have since gone back after several years and watch some of the more recent stuff. Much more enjoyable without the stupid screaming matches. Worm man is still a social retard, but at least the acting like an asshole part seems to have been removed from the show.

Yes we watched several and saaw no drama ,no fake deadlines . We did watch them on You Tube and they were not inany order. Quite likely we just hit a few without the drama

No drama? Mark Worman is the king of juvenile drama.

Mark drifted to the tune of American Chopper and soon realized that these great cars and the stories behind them are what people cared about. Its interesting how he likes to discuss 1 of 20 cars or 1 of 1 cars with a 440/426 angle just for the sake of younger crowd......but the most interesting stories are about real family cars that survived or were found years later and put back on the road. Mark knows how to restore cars for sure.....and he spends a lot of time on documentation of things that others just forget.

I remember one of the first Graveyard Car's that I watched. He was assembling an 8 3/4 rearend. He was getting ready to install the backing plates, axles, and so forth. He stands there with the white foam gasket-He says-this goes on first, then the backing plate, then the metal gasket, then the axle. Any Mopar person knows that's wrong-that's when I realized he doesn't know everything. Then if I remember he slobbered a bunch of silicone on the metal gasket. And then there's cousin Dougie, he must have dropped a bunch of acid in his younger days.

I'd agree the show has improved somewhat in the past few seasons from the early ones. I do enjoy it to see what they are working on, as that yard is full of extremely cool cars. Can't deny the knowledge and the quality of work is very good. Also promoting the brand and doing their part keeping the parts end alive is never a bad thing. Car people often complain that younger people are not interested in the hobby, so I'm all for shows like this, even with a bit of scripted drama.

We aren't huge tv watchers in our house . Reality shows even less so .
We were at a car show this weekend talking to two fellas that had mid '60s mopars . They suggested Graveyard Kars .
We were very impressed with the show . Zero drama ,no huge emotional displays .
It's restoration shop in Oregon that is only concerned with correct restoration of Mopars .
The host /owner appears to be walking encyclopedia of all things Mopar.
He critiques his workers only to help them do better quality work . He actually explains how
he goes about restoring the vehicles .

I generally like the show. In my opinion, there is a lot of silliness and very little actual drama. I think they often spoof the drama of shows like Am Chopper and Fast and Loud just for fun.

I watch a lot of the MT shows and I learn different things from each of them. Watching GYC has helped me develop a better understanding and appreciation for the way that Mopar build the cars in the first place. While I think it's kinda' silly to insist on date-code-correct belts and hoses for a car that a person intends to drive, I learned a lot watching the GYC team deconstruct, then replace the floor of a B-Body.

Don't think I've ever watched any of his shows that didn't have some drama in it but he worst show that ain't on TV anymore imo was Boyd Coddington's show.....man. I hate listening to all the beeps beeping out all the cussing. Screw that crap. Mark Worman of GYC can get pretty stooopid at times but seems like he has toned that down some.....maybe.

Yeah, it's real easy to do a show about a old car that you can get any parts for without looking. How about doing a 64 Newport, or 58-300 for that matter!

I just watched an episode by accident. His painter is with his son, speaking to the camera, and mark is talking over the painter the whole time. I find his stupidity unbearable.
His lack of knowledge on cars other than 68-72 B bodies is vast.

Haven't seen them ruin a good car. That's my biggest gripe with these shows. Gas Monkey ruined a black 1968 Camaro SS 396 convertible when any 6 cylinder car would have worked. Kindig is currently butchering a 1967 R/T. It was a nice car, so they cut out perfectly good floors and installed a custom frame. Why and R/T? Why cut the floors from a solid car? I'm sure a lot of people with a lesser model Coronet would have traded cars.

I saw that show. Kindig completely killed the spirit of that car into a butchered trailer queen. People with too much money, and little brains. I understand people building something to their taste, but why ruin a nice RT?

Ratings hunt...trying to attract more followers possibly succumbing to TV production advisors to create a ‘personality’. This show is not much different than the others; remember Kounting Cars. But the latter, IMO, messed up some nice vehicles with over-the-top modding, unlike Graveyard. As posted, would be nice to see earlier mopars; but not their thing. It’s hard to mfg humor or a personality. But, to the OP’s point – yep – good stuff to watch, most of which I can only dream of. Had my ’70 Cuda and let it go – did that all by my stoopid self not realizing replacing it would become stupid costly.

This is likely because parts are not as available for the early B-bodies. He doesn't want his shop or TV show tied up waiting for parts. That's good for the rest of us who like and appreciate our early B's who don't mind spending a little bit of time ferreting out the parts for our builds. I would hate to see our cars go so mainstream that we could not afford them any more. Witness what has happened to '68-'70 Chargers after most of the good E-bodies got grabbed up.
