Hey guys sadly it has become time to say goodbye to my first kid !
He was 14 1/2 years old he was a pure blooded red nose pit bull! (There's a long name for his exact breed but pit bull is fine by me!)
His name is charger ,he was named after my first car my 74 charger in brown . I got him when he was only 6 weeks old .
His mother gave birth to 14 puppies and passed away right after . All looked like there father but 3 little brown ones they looked like mom . The Father was a huge aggressive guard dog very mean (was shot a few months later when he couldn't be controlled!)
Mom was the sweetest dog ever so everyone wanted the big dogs and not the little ones that looked like mom ! Charger himself was the runt of the litter too. So all dogs but the 3 got homes first day !
The guy didn't want these ones didn't care I was there for a car deal and heard the pups my wife (girlfriend at time) wanted to see them he threw them out of garage for her kicked them around gave them adult dog chow they were covered in pee and poop we noticed one with a rib hanging out when he ate we made a deal on car and got that pup added in for free (this was charger)
Went back later without wife and took the other two puppies from this dick head !
So fast forward threw the years he's been with me since he loved riding in the chargers and he was a mother hen to every pup or kitten we took in threw the years .so recently he started showing his age and declined very quickly he was in pain and had a hard time at walking . I knew it was time and set it for just after the holidays. He will be missed by all that have met him .
The last picture was last night he wouldn't leave the baby's side that night
