seems/sometimes more MPH there can be, if you had a bit of tire spin early

I know my big HP drag cars would MPH like a mofo
when they'd spin somewhere near or off the line & then hook up quick
some almost 10mph higher in the quarter, in a 7 second car
that'd normally run like 7.80-7.90 @ like 178, (at 1250-1280hp, 2500# car)
sometimes with spin early then hook & would trap-speed at as high as 188
back when they still had a 320 ft trap speeds lights/timers
180' before & after the stripe... drive it out the back door

8.50 Pro-gas car, could run deep into the 7's
I ran it a few times in Super Eliminator S/E 7.90 class NHRA events
the S/E was mostly Altered's & dragsters, hard to win in a full bodied car
I had something for them too,
it could run 6.90's at 190 A/A trim
7.90 S/E trim
