Headers and Mini Starters

D452's ... but those are for b & e bodies.

That bellhousing will need a bit of clearancing on the right side or you can bash the **** out of the header - your call.

Once the headers are installed the mini starter can be swapped in and out without loosening the headers !!
I have a 73 Charger so that covers it.
D452 is the part number in Doug’s catalog
 
Its actually the LEFT side that needs a tad of clearancing ...

I finished installing the new Doug’s headers today. It was no picnic, but I’m impressed with the quality and they fit much nicer than the 1-3/4” Hookers I fought for 39 years.

FYI, I had to clearance the right side of the Lakewood bellhousing.

Next weekend I will find out if there is any performance difference with the bigger tubes.

Not to be a stick in the mud,
but why buy a set of headers
where you have to ding them
to get them to fit?
A custom set is comparible
in price to TTI. Not knocking
TTI (they're a good header),
You're running with a set of
parameters that is outside
the proverbial box.
