Heads

Has anyone used a set of edelbrock performer heads to replace there stock 906 heads on a 383 with A/C? I was wondering if the alternator bolts to the edelbrock with no issues. Do the edelbrocks affect pulley alignment?

I think you`ll be ok with the Edelbrock heads. I wasn`t thinking about the AC when I built the engine for my 65 Coronet with factory air. You have me thinking though and I`ll probably update that heavy old pump to one of the lighter modern pumps. Just a thought.
