Has anyone ever installed a set of Heddman Elite Headers on a 440 motor with Aluminum Stealth Heads from 440 Source in a 68-69 Bbody?
I guess my main question is...is it at all possible to still get those into position once the motor is already in the car or is it a case of having to lay them on the inner fenders while the motor is being lowered into the engine compartment and then having multiple helpers guide them into the right place simultaneously?
The car is a 69 Road Runner with a stock k-frame, factory sway bar, a 727AT and power steering.
The car is almost done after a long restoration and I'm ready to drop the motor in but I didn't want to do that and then find out that I now couldn't get the headers in place. Everything "looks" like it's gonna work but I'd prefer to not have to do the job twice if I can avoid it. Just lemme know if there's a particular order I have to follow or not. Thanks!
