Help Me Pick My Oklahoma License Plate

Well, after much consideration of your opinions I went with the YOM tag. The one thing I dislike about it is I am required to place a decal on the windshield indicating I paid the tax. I also have to keep the bird tag in the car. So, I'll probably stick it in the trunk somewhere out of the way.

When I told the lady at the Moore Tag Agency that nobody I knew likes the new 2018 tag with the white bird she said, "we all like it here". I just nodded and left.

I sent in the form and a check for an additional $21.50 for the YOM. It can take up to 8 weeks to receive the decal.

Hope I'm not too late to throw this in the mix....

The director of a forensic lab here in Oklahoma had a specialty plate made for her car that read N24NSX. Everyone that read it cracked up laughing thinking it meant Into Foreign Sex.

A long, long time ago there was a pickup truck in Houston, TX with this license plate: 6ULDV8

I tried soaking my 69 plate in Evapo-Rust to remove the tiny bit of rust that was starting to form on the back. It blistered the paint after an overnight soak. So, I stripped the paint, did some minor dent repair and took it down the street to a local powder coating company for a coat of appliance white. Then it was off to Mik's Pin Striping for the lettering. The total restoration was $75.
