stock intakes used studs from the factory, one end was fine thread , the other 1/4 -20...

This doesn't come across as accurate if you are implying, they all were studs. They were not. As I mentioned above a combination of 10 bolts and 6 studs.

if I remember right my 68 hemi was all studs......??

Somebody did that. Should be 10 and 6. In 68they shifted to Hex head bolts vice allen socket. Bolts were captured washer type.

4 3” bolts go under the plugs in the rear four holes (all the bolts in the kit will be 3") 6 2-3/4” bolts go in the carb openings, 4 2-1/2” bolts go under the four plugs in the front and and 2 2-1/4” bolts go in the exposed holes.
