The fellow who owns this car is a machinist, I spoke to him for quite a while this morning and he stated that he's have a lot of trouble getting apprentices to work for him, and training for those who do.....you guys run into this in your area's?

If he having trouble finding apprentices, if he is willing to let me work off the car, I can be in Texas in about 15HRS!!!!!LOL
If he is looking for a young buck, my son JUST turned 18, I will send him down ASASP!!!!
I am kidding of course, unless he isn't!!!!!

I love to hear that cars like this are still being discovered!!!!

My kid just turned 16 and believe me, I’d love to get him in there to work

My father and I pulled a 1966 Charger (orig 361, NOT A HEMI) from long term storage in 2002.

This is a problem everywhere IMHO. Too many kids are brainwashed into taking the college route and end up buried in student loans when they could have taken the blue collar path and done well.

We work with a company in middle Tennessee that does a lot of aerospace-grade precision machining, welding, etc. for our test rigs. Speaking with their GM last year, he was talking about the difficulty they are having filling open positions as his highly experienced workforce is aging out. He even went to the local HS and tried to get them to start an apprenticeship program with him and they refused.
