Just made this, don't know if it's offered somewhere. Didn't like the feel of a crows foot. Now I have to do the 90°/180° figuring thing. It's 2 " center to center.
If it's 2" and your torque wrench is 20" (to the center of the handle) then you would set your torque wrench to 90% of what you want with your gizmo sticking straight out.
Thanks guys! My torque wrench is 14 1/2 " from head center to mid handle line. Plus the 2 " extension. I have watched 3 different videos on this, with the 90°/ 180°, or straight out. Geometry and Algebra were not ever my strong point, my teacher passed me with a D in algebra if I remember, because I was flunking. That was in the spring of '65, the last math course that I ever took.
Hey, I finally get it. Torque wrench centers X Torque that I want. Then that figure divided by center to center plus the length of the extension. 22-44-70
Yes, think that is how I did it. The 3 sets of numbers up there at the end are values at 25, 50, and 80 . Straight out, not at 90°.
Broke the weld on my homemade tool. Need to find out what the boxed extension above is called so that I can hit the tool guys for a real one.
Thank you!
