I have heard that the storm will encounter significant shear before landfall and that will cause the weakening. We are all crossing our fingers for that. Not sure how they have it significantly weakening from tomorrow morning as a cat 5 until landfall, 8 PM Wednesday as a cat 3.
I'm not sure I've ever known one to do that.
Vacuum the ocean floor.Has it occurred to anyone that just possibly, these latest storms that develop and the similar patterns, just might be caused by some entity that is able to manipulate and control the weather??? Just seems to me to be just plain coincidental how they suddenly develop in such rapid sequence and succession and in locations that traditionally do not have such occurrences. Albeit, not in customary locations. Plus, lately, they seem to be hitting and targeting some Red States and not any others. Probably just a Climate change phenomenon even though we all should know that Mother Nature is always in charge. And then maybe not!!! cr8crshr/Bill
No. It has not occurred to anyone rational. Milton has been tracked as a tropical depression for weeks. And the bathwater temperatures of the gulf is what fueled its explosion in intensity.Has it occurred to anyone that just possibly, these latest storms that develop and the similar patterns, just might be caused by some entity that is able to manipulate and control the weather??? Is this joking around? Creating hurricanes and only targeting red-states? They’re along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, AL, MS, LA, FL, TX, suffering hurricanes as long as the records go back. Blue-states along the Atlantic coast have had hurricanes. Seems that a few blue-states have had their share of being whacked by fires, floods, and earthquakes. Could it be from climate change? Not debating man-made, just that the climate is...changing. The water temp in the Gulf of Mexico is the highest it has ever been since records were kept.Has it occurred to anyone that just possibly, these latest storms that develop and the similar patterns, just might be caused by some entity that is able to manipulate and control the weather??? Headed straight for Tampa/St Pete and the I-4 corridor, all the way to Daytona.

Actually, a rational person would note all the inconsistencies and wonder why. That same person would do a little research and would very quickly see that not only is weather modification well documented, but pretty plain with Helene...No. It has not occurred to anyone rational. Milton has been tracked as a tropical depression for weeks. And the bathwater temperatures of the gulf is what fueled its explosion in intensity.
It's looking as the Tampa area is going to take a direct hit. I hope all takes this very seriously. I lived on east coast of Florida. And saw my share of Tropical storms and even one cat 1-2 hurricane. But this Milton is a monster.
Thoughts and prayers of course to all that Milton is going to effect.
Actually, you don’t. Everything south of landfall is going to get a big storm surge from this.Got my fingers crossed its north of Ft Myers. I know that's probably cruel but we've got family that have finally recovered from Hurrican Ian and I'm not sure Sanibel and Bonita Springs family can handle another one this soon.
