I posted earlier my sister's house ordeal and how she escaped near death because of her dog's visible reaction.
I today learned she was effectively clueless to the block away approaching tornado because she was listening to her earbuds.
There is a lesson there I believe.

Yes, what is left of it.
The white SUV nearest the house got rotated about 80 degrees counterclockwise.
The nearby houses untouched are unbelievable.

I usually would have taken down my shutters after the storm threat. This year, I have left most of them up, because it takes my wife and I so long to put them up now. We were just talking about taking them down. After all, it’s almost mid November. But wait, now it’s looking like it’s not over yet. Watching for “Sara” to form in the coming days south of us.
