That was way highStock and then mods.
Its all a gameAt Idle, with hot oil, I want at least 20 pounds, but prefer 30# of pressure, but at RPM, around 70#
The Charger revs 7,000 RPM easy.
The street cars really are only 6,000 RPM max
Really, on a fresh engine with 0.0025", 0.0030" rod/bearing clearances (440 block), and no pushrod oiling, a stock pump works fine.
The High volume pump just maintains pressure when the engine (and oil pump) starts wearing after many miles of use.
If using EFI, or doing regular oil changes where the oil does not get much fuel dilution and contamination the stock pump is fine in most applications.
If running alcohol/E-85 fuels, or having a rich running carb, you need to keep an eye on the oil getting fuel dilution.
