Hey guys... any good tips for getting a stubborn metering block off on a Holley? The secondary side came off with a little fight, but the primary won't budge, I can't get enough leverage anywhere to pry it off and tried a flat blade scrapper and a few hammer taps and still no go... advice?

If you can get the scraper started,it will come off,go toward the bottom of the block,if you go straight in from the side you will break the little gasket locating pin cast on the block, other than that you can't hurt it.

I have pried those off from the top. There is a little rectangular indent in the center of the block and you might try leveraging a screw driver into that recess and pry against the air horn gasket lip. You can also get a thick razor blade (like in those razor knives) and tap it in between the block and main body. Being careful to avoid the dowels as mentioned.

Thanks guys... the razor blade trick worked.
