I'm working on finishing up my 451 stroker build and looking to put an Edlebrock Performer intake on top with a my Thermoquad. Also, planning to use the stock dual snorkel air cleaner assembly. The car is a 72 SSP. Anyone have this combination? Curious about hood clearance issues.

I think you should be fine, the performer rpm intake is a dual plain correct? Those always sit alot lower compared to a single plain manifold. I have the same car and originally I had a Yorker on top of my 440 with a quadrajet carb and fit no problem under hood until I wanted a taller air filter and a 1/2" spacer.
