I was watching Wheeler dealers, and they made the claim that their Pinto powered DorMobile was the most powerful in the Kingdom. I didn't Google Dorman camper/Rover V8, because I know there's one out there.
It made me think that I really don't know much about hot rodding outside of the US. I bought car magazines and read a bunch more and watched auto week and NASCAR on Saturday mornings, but one rarely saw foreign hot rodding. One mag I bought had an interesting article about a Volvo factory rally car. They had a three-quarter view front, cutaway drawing of a 144 with an aluminum 427 Chevrolet big block with Hilborn stack fuel injection. Volvo doesn't have a museum, so I joined a Volvo FB page and asked about it.
