How should a reproduction fender tag w/options should look like?

You think so?
It must suck to be so cynical. I'm not that way.
There was a guy at DodgeCharger.com that was making fender tags with a 3D printer. The tags were plastic and the font was quite different so these were novelty items, not to be intended as genuine reproductions. I have considered getting one for my red car that has had all sorts of deviations from original equipment. My "agenda" was to use codes that were never used like E95 for the 495" engine, D25 for the 5 speed manual, etc.
Not everyone is out to cheat others, man.
I believe it was obvious he meant a tag meant to look authentic, not a "novelty" tag.

Oh, I have a bunch of blank ones that I’ve saved from the 1990’s. Planning saving those just to put on a car blank, to, you know, mess with tag readers at shows. There are now repro tags, so I don’t mind using one of those because, like I said, I’m not worried about it being correct.
I never thought about it until I read this post, but now I think I want to run a blank tag. My r/t was missing the tag when I got it, and the missing tag bugs me. Putting a blank tag there would fill the void and be kind of funny.

I'm currently building my restomod and wouldn't think twice about using an original looking FT. I actually reached out to a company and never heard back from them. (thanks for the inconsideration) What's the big deal? Anyone would know its not an original factory optioned car. (It just adds to the uniqueness) Especially when I tell them my goal was that it was part of the build to update it into the latest 2024/25 technology that I can find.

If the car was a Lynch Road build the tags don't have to much information on them. I have essentially the same exact car as you in a different color.

I sold this 69 Coronet R/T that was missing the fender tag. Weeks later it was being flipped for more with a fake (repro) fender tag.

Doubt it. It’s a race car that will probably have no original mechanicals parts left on it when it’s done. Don’t even care that’s it’s supposedly one of 12 made/optioned the way it was.
Plant would be from vin, so WS23U1A******.
A = Lynch Road

Look @ Post #26

That’s what your fender tag would look like , similar to this

Thanks to everyone whom has reached out and posted. Hopefully I can get some more info. I have two persons whom can make a tag now, so I’m half way to a fender tag.

Fender tag thread turns into political.

Some people could turn water into a political topic. No wait!

I need a replacement fender tag as well. I will only include options I know came with the car since I bought it in 74 with 40k miles. Nothing fancy: 383, column shifted 727, 3.23 8 3/4 rear, Torred, black vinyl roof, black interior, lighting group, AM radio, black rear triple stripe, dust trails on the sides. As far as I know, nothing else so that's it. I'd rather leave something off then add something. You say you have two people who can make you a tag, can you list them here or PM me? Thx
