Been internet searching, cant seem to figure out how these side trims go on, 68 charger.
Car came to me with these already off.
I see a bag of clips marked “interior side trim clips “
See pictures, i know there’s a screw hole near the front if each side trim. But cannot figure out how these clips attach to the trim, and how they attach to the car!

The clips get spread evenly along the trim - you don't need a clip where the screws are !! The clips snap up between the roof skins - look, you'll see the gap. So ... clips installed on the trim (I usually spread the clips a bit first so they stay in place in the trim), hold the trim up in place, lined up with a screw hole and bang it into place. It should hold long enough to get the screws in. You're lucky, the Belvedere models only got one screw !!! Hope this helps.

By the way, all clips go in the same way - one of the ones in your photo is wrong - I think the one of the right.

Take a clip out of the trim and see how it fits.
There’s an only one way they fit in.
Post 3 gkent is correct the clip on right is not installed correctly.

Those clips fit randomly onto the pinch weld , start them about 8 inches behind the screw & 8 inches from the back , no specific spot just relatively spaced. Line up the front screw hole & tap the mldg onto the pinch weld. Hope this helps

Is the pinch weld part of the car where the headliner got wrapped around? I have included a couple of pictures thinking that this clip fit between that part, and the weatherstrip roof rail, which is already on the car.
not sure if that should be mounted already?

Your last picture might be it, or try rotating the clip 180 and put back in the same position in your hand as your last picture.

ITS IN! ITS IN! ITS IN!!!
Thanks for all the help once again!!!!
