I call BS on GYC!

Chrysler should have had them in production though!

Other than one show car which never made it to production, there were no vert Chargers. However, there were Coronet and SuperBee verts.

Super Bee?

Think not.

These.

I'm truly surprised at how much PLAYER HATER action goes on in this Forum.
I personally LOVE Grave Yard Carz

Let it go
Mark Worman turns out some un-real cars
He has done what I wish I could have done in life!

And I would give my proverbial Left "Anatomical thingy" to be married to his Daughter!

REALLY?
He's the Bad Guy?

Now to me this is starting to seem like Sour Grapes OR Player Hater....
Great Cars on that show and yes, I LEARN stuff during every episode.

Sorry to "Buck the System"...

Oh, and as K.D stated, NO Charger convertible has been Factory produced...
Everyone knows that.

He's getting better less stupid antics to use up time. Still rather record and blip through any bs.

I hadn't been able to stomach all the BS. BUT , this season has actually been ok and I have actually made it through a few episodes. although I still record and skip through some. that weird uncle child hood friend or whoever that white haired guy was needed to go away

The thread was in jest!,The self proclaimed expert said in the last episode, that there were no Charger convertibles built, well I have one,so I jokingly called BS on him. While you believe you are learning from him,he is only correct about half the time at best. Mopars take even the self proclaimed experts to school! One can never really say never with Mopars! Im'50 years in and still learning!

I also never understood why Plymouth built 68 and 69 GTX convertibles, but did not offer them for 70. They built Road Runner convertibles in 69 and 70,but not in 68.

Ha Ha
You certainly KNOW more than he does correct?

Yeah, And Tony D'Agastino doesn't know what he is talking about either?
Also, noted MOPAR collector Bill Goldberg?
Show me another shop in the world restoring a 1969 Coronet R/T Convertible Hemi car?
YOU can't because there is only one!
In the whole world

RI?
Your world class Auto Restorations are the ones that do all Grave Yard Carz dash work.
They are the BEST in the world!

So
Anytime YOU tell me that Mark Worman is only half correct, I just consider the source...

C'mon, give us all a break

It's a TV SHOW!
Take it for what it is
Silliness and goofy antics help the show
It's all an act, prompted by the producers (After all, they pay for the show to be made, not GYC)
However,
I certainly believe that we should rejoice over there being a MOPAR exclusive TV show

And, yes, I am from RI
I'll be there in August
I'll look you up, you can buy me a Gansett and I'll buy you lunch a Mike's in Cranston, the VFW hall.
We can marvel at your charger.

Maybe provides incite as to why Chrysler Corp. was #3 and not #2.

Sure anybody can spit out production numbers and codes without knowing the facts!View attachment 611776

BTW:
Very nice car!
that's not what the guy with the 4 door cuda says? they really made one !

IT WAS a Production Proto-TYPE!
Everybody knows that......
Seen or "Spotted" by an old Chrysler Factory Janitor at something like 02:30ish in the Morning
He wasn't supposed to see the car.

tee-hee-hee

:popcorn2:

Yeah, pretty rare huh?
Gee, I do not want to get depressed and reminisce on the cars I had and had the opportunity to own...
How about a 70 RED Coronet R/T 440 Six-Pack Convertible?
Dayton Ohio, 1982?
My neighbor, I was Air Force, he was a Chrysler "Inland" auto-worker
I do love the Coronets!

They actually did produce at least 1
it was called "Topless", concept not production
but still built by Dodge

There was another Charger Convertible-Roadster concept
produced/built "by Dodge" in 1964-ish
so that makes "at least 2 known to exist" :carrot:

here's a recreation of it from 2000 {?}

here's the real deal, tech. it's a "roadster not a convertible"
just like the car above from 1968
