Here are some new pics i took today, the trans is in and the car should be running in a few weeks. I need to know if you people think the car looks better this low to the ground or like it was before.

I like the hunkered down look. Like it is ready to pounce on something (Chevy, perhaps?)

It should be up to you as it is your car and you need to please yourself.

I would be putting a skid plate on that oil pan though.

my opinion it looks good low to the ground. it might give you a better launch if you need it.

Damn, that's a bad-*** car... Love that color!!! Sweet n' Low...IMHO

Love that color!! And my vote is for the way you have it sitting now. Guess I wasn't the only one who was concerned about the oil pan either.

Thinks it looks terrible!I'll take off your hands!just kidding, looks GREAT!Anybody that does like it probably drives Yugo!

oops forgot some words, dont want you to hunt me down!

Well its sure got my glands activated! if the tires don't rub and the car works I wouldn't touch it..that thing is definitely one tuff looking car put tags on it and drive it.......:yes:Artie O its got tags on it da......

I don't like my cars looking like 4x4's but the first pic is only about an inch higher than I like em. Do two pics of the same view but at the different heights and then we can see a better comparison.....how much lower is it from the fist pic? Your camera angle is a bit different between the first and last and it's hard to tell.

The younger guys are going to tell you low as that has been the current fad. If you are looking for the 'back in the day look" as you indicated in your other thread about the tires and posted the old Landy pictures, you will want it higer.

That car is so tough, it probably looks good either way.

But I vote for up high, it has a bit more nostalgic look which is what I prefer... and your oil pan agrees!

I think it looks really good! but like someone said if you want the young guy fad then keep it that way. If you want the old skool way then raise that sucka (I'm young but love a high ***) xD

Beautiful looking car. I vote for the higher look and you won't have issues with the suspension and oil pan on rough roads.

I'm 59 and remember all the guys that jacked up the rear until they couldn't see out of the rear view mirror....well, maybe not that much lol....but I didn't like that look even then. I like em low but not in the weeds either. Like I said earlier, I like em just a but lower than the first pic shows with no more than a 1" rake angle.

I'll be 60 in two months and remember the same with the Chevys and Fords but the Mopar guys were able to screw the torsion bars up easily and usually did for the level lifted look.
