Low looks good on a backhalfed car.Myself i prefer the nosebleed look:grin:
Around my area just outside of Houston, the majority lifted the rear and not the front. Only the real serious guys kept the back end down....I'll be 60 in two months and remember the same with the Chevys and Fords but the Mopar guys were able to screw the torsion bars up easily and usually did for the level lifted look.
Now those don't look good anyother way!! :yes:Low looks good on a backhalfed car.Myself i prefer the nosebleed look:grin:

The bigger the rear tires, the lower the car should sit. Emulates tube-chassis cars the lower they go. Also, as stated, helps w/ weight distribution.
Now for my honest opinion - the car looks outdated, not nostalgic, outdated...like built in the who-cares-about-the-80's outdated. Street racing is f'ing retarded, and it's proven you don't need that much tire to hook at the strip, so the whole setup is really a waste.
Guess you could say I'm a 'younger guy', but if you're looking for a 'back in the day look" going higher isn't gonna get you that - unless you're talking about 80's Hot Rod Magazine cover cars.

Wow. So there's an award to blow smoke up someone's ***? That's a pretty funny come back, by the way. You're a comedian, right?
He asked for opinions. I gave mine. If there's a problem w/ that, maybe 'opinion' threads should not be allowed. You're not a commie, are you 'HitIt'? Wait, just noticed you are in California...
What's really funny is that I don't see any smartass comments directed to those who criticized the oil pan clearance, so what is unique about my post?
Sorry 696, but I see very little/nothing of technical value in that link. Esp w/ respect to a 4 link car.
To the OP - I've looked through many of your posts and not found it, but what are the specs on the engine? ET?
