I think I may have just found my 68 Charger!

Did I hear the seller correctly that disc brakes was $3700?

Yea, seems pretty pricey but hey it was his $ not mine, well I guess it is now, LOL!
The other question is was part of that total for installation....Sometime shops will add a % to the cost of the parts if everything is done through them, then labor cost can be crazy....Or he just threw a wild number out there...

No idea but there's always the piss off factor that could have been added to the final price. Either way its water over the dam now.

In the end you have great stopping power now!

Guy did a nice job, better than the guy i used for sure... Love the owners laugh at the end of everything he says!

Did it really have 40 # of oil pressure at warm idle?

I'll have to go back & watch the video. God only knows what type of oil is in the engine but I'll be putting fresh oil in. I've heard that higher zinc oils are best to use.

Also, do not forget idle rpm's....A higher than normal idle will raise the pressure..The grade of oil as stated...Even the type of pump can be an issue....or a cheap gauge...

Start simple and go from there...Change the oil first..Ck idle etc....

I bet your pressure is fine overall

As far as oil goes....Brad Penn all the way in my books!

You need zinc in the oil for the cam & lifters.

Did not like the only underside pic of the shiny freshly applied glossy black undercoating that was obviously used at the last minute to possibly cover up very questionable scaly frame rails and belly skin, that probably caused a few prior prospects to run away, not to piss in your cornflakes, but as a precaution to others using this as a guideline!

Hey Guys. Just an update. My car is being picked up today, pics to come from Auto Appraise once it's loaded up! Can't wait to get it home!

Owner has been paid & car is on the way back to the appraisers shop for transportation to CT! Hopefully here by the weekend!

Perhaps the picture doesn't have the right angles to it but I guess it would be onto the sides or perhaps there is a tie off point under the trailer floor as I've seen that before. I can't see them just putting the car in park with the emergency brake and driving off. That would be nuts!

Secured to what though?
