i found this its an original Steward Warner mechanical drive tachometer that my dad used to have on his charger and challenger. its in perfect condition and its still in the original box. I would love to use on my rr, but I'm having trouble finding any sort of mechanical drive cables that can be used (all corvettes) wondering if anyone knows of any place that sells them for mopars or even a big block distributor that has one on it, preferably for a 383. thanks

While digging around i found this too, the reverse light off of his all original 70 R/T Challenger he had in 78' it was just funny to find out that he kept it. Cause he forgot he did.

Not sure I can help on the distributor and drive cable, but that is a nice tach! Mechanicals are really nostalgic to me.

Moroso always made a cable driven one, might wanna check Summit or Jegs.

Exactly there so cool and different, and being my fathers i'd love to have it in my car

If you want, I'll check to see if I have any extra cables. I have two of those tachs and raced with one in the mid 80's and plan on using one again. No electronics baby!! :D

Advance Auto Parts sells a universal speedometer cable. I bet you it will fit right in there just fine.

If all else fails try Red Line Gauge Works. Shannon is full of information and a SW dealer. He may be able to help.
