Ideas

I always thought these cars looked wicked cool with tall velocity stacks sticking threw the hood.I love fabbing with my dog,he always gives me good ideas.

TELSTAR, You get that from the song back in the 60's? as soon as I saw that it brought back memories of cranking up the AM mono speaker radio every time it came on...........

Thanks fore the memory !!!

Damn Bro!! You don't mess around, I wish I was that quick with my project!! And yes, I may be interested in the doors, let me know what you would want for them. I'm just a state away!! I LOVE ROADIES, especially when it involves cars parts!!!!

Got the glass fenders bolted on,need to do some more fitting, typical fiberglass stuff. The axle is tacked in,Speedway 50in. got springs ordered.38in total with 16in front segment 22in rear.I moved the front 12in. I hate the look when you center the front wheels with a higher front end stance, looks like your pushing a wheelbarrow.

I am planning to do this to a 65 Dart. Looking at the front axle, All components from Speedway? Please show what type and how to mount the steering box........Thanks for sharing the build with us.

senbloodysational..........great stuff.....would love one of these one day!

looks great iam goin with longer torsion bars but that straight axle looks tempting

I'm still weighing my options for a steering box.I might test fit the factory manual one it's still on the K frame so no cost involved there.

Wow...that looks killer! I was on the fence about what axle to use in my Polara, not any more. Thanks for the push.

Pretty straight forward set up and era correct except for the disc brakes of coarse.

The altered wheelbase project has officially changed direction.I've been collecting parts so I can do a proper recreation/restoration of Tom McCroans the Funny Car for about 5-6 years now.I bought all the fiberglass parts from Jim Kramer, and started work with a very rusty shell. But now with this shell it will back the job way easier and will go much faster.Last shot is the old shell with patch work quarters
