What car would it be?
I had a '68 Super Bee that I bought new from Glauser Dodge in Vineland, NJ. It was green with a white interior and a white stripe. It had a 383, TFlite, power steering and tinted windows. I owned it for 8-9 years. After I sold it, it got hit hard on the driver's side. It did get repaired and the last time I saw it, it was sitting on a small used car lot. It was one of those lots with a string of bulbs between two wooden poles and small shed for an office. there was no phone number and nobody was ever at the lot. I asked a friend about the owner of the lot and he knew him (good news) but the car had been taken to the auction and sold (bad news). I've heard stories about a '68 Bee that is green with a white interior in the Paulsboro, NJ area but I could never find out any more. I'd love to find it.

well my dad had a 73 charger and a 69 camaro base models, he wishes he had them though, my mom wishes she didnt get rid of her 4 speed 66 mustang fastback, but my dad had a story of how he missed out on a 50,000$ car, a 67 GTO, a woman across the street had a 67 gto that she was tired of seeing because her son who owned it was in the military and was gone, she said the first 500$ takes it, it was a dark green with white vinyl top gto, he wanted it but wandered around not really in a rush to ask my grandpa for money to get it, he finally got the money and brought it to her, she had sold it to his neighbor lee 30 minutes before and that was about his dream car, so he always regrets waiting too long

1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Bought in 1974 for $800.00 Dollars.

1968 Cougar XR7/GTE 427 C6 3.89TL. I did find it Its very Rusty and the owner does not wish to sell it as he is "Going to restore it someday".

My first real car was a '64 Sport Fury 426 street wedge with 4 speed. I am living proof, God looked out after me. It would bury the speedomter in 3rd gear with 3.55 rear end. This in the late 60's and I spent my paycheck every week on it. Drove my Dad crazy, I finally left. Put Mallory ignition, Hedman Headers, Isky Cam and kit, several gear changes from 3.55 to 4.56. I was almost drafted and joined the Coast Gaurd and let it get away. Then I bought a 67 440 4 speed Dana GTX from the original owner. I still have it along with a 63 max wedge clone Savoy that is race only.

66 Coronet 440 white with blue interior. Poly 318 with p/w and a/c. My first Mopar. Smoked many a built 350 with that redneck retuned stock 318 2v.

70 Super Bee Lemon Twist with black int and top. 383 auto, bulge hood with pins, tail stripe, bench seat, tuff wheel, a/c, 3.55. Almost my dream car.

The car I'm building now is kind of a cross between the two, with a better body than either.

My first car was a 63 ss impala, bought it when I was 15 , never drove it (legally). First one I drove with a 16 yr old lic was a 65 Barracda 273 4spd car. Drove it for about two years untill I hit the Good Humor man on the beltway and rolled it. Next was my first real honey. 1968 Roadrunner 383 4spd. Drove the wheels off that sucker. Upgraded it by thowing away the aftermarket A/C stock Ex Manifols , Int Manifold, Etc . Real Smart When Were Young Arnt We? Drove it to High School for 2 years, fastest car on the lot. My old buddies still talk about it. Finally found a first owner 68 RR about 8 yrs ago and didnt get to it untill about 4yrs ago. Under resto. now in my shop. Cant wait to get er done. but hard to find the time. I'll post pics of the progress soon. Everyone wants thier High School sweetheart back right?

Geez, make us feel stupid again. 70 `cuda 340 was worst sell of my life. As far as the ones that got away..... My older brother had & sold all the following 68RR,69 Charger 500-the real one,68GTX,72Charger 340, and that is just the Mopars. He also had a 69 E-type Jag. He even had a couple neat Fords, a 69 Cobra Torino 428,4spd & shaker. And the worst one of all ;He had a 69 Talladega Torino with a saveable parts car. If we had only known.

I did find a car I once owned that I still regret selling and it's now a movie star. 69 R/T SE Charger that had a cameo in the Green Hornet movie. I have a thread about it on here somewhere. Another one would be my old 69 318 Charger I had in HS. Then there's a rag top 68 GTX 4 spd, R/T Challenger.....ohhhhh....I want them all back!! I still have my 68 RR though!

WOW! I think I have seen one of those ever. Very rare car. I had a 69 XR7 351W 4V, top loader, 9" that I bought for like $180.00 in the mid 80's - and it ran. The car was kind of a piece of crap condition wise but I wouldn't mind having it now.

Damn, a 427 Cougar!! Smokin'

#1 1964' Chrysler 300 conv. Roman Red w/Black & White interior

#2 1970 Charger 500. Plum crazy w/black interior 383hp w/factory air.

Still happy with what I got now though... (MOPAR) :headbang:

Really. Was it originally a triple black car missing the numbers matching drive train?

1970 AMX 390 4 speed, Big Bad Orange... should've never sold it but it seemed like nice muscle cars were everywhere in the early nineties. That car would flat out scoot!

My first car would be cool but that's not going to happen. Another was a 70 RT 440 Challenger ragtop that was fully loaded. I kept a build sheet but it turned out to be for another Challenger that was either in front or behind it during production and. didn't look at it very hard when I pulled it out of the car thinking that it was the right one before I sold it. My X hated it.....like she hated all my cars, my bike and most of my friends. Pretty much why she ended up being an X....

Back in the early 70's I built a 66 Plymouth Valiant with a 340, 727 and an 8 3/4 with 456 gears. I raced the car at Pittsburgh International Dragway and Keystone Raceway. It was a real runner and put the hurt on many a big block of all kinds and was never beat by a small block. It was medium metalic blue with a gold insert on the side. I sold it when I built my first house and as far as I know it went to Ohio and was still kicking butt. I really wish I knew what came of that car.

"Restore it someday" eh? That is getting old to hear them say id think you would agree... I wanted to ask you if you ever seen the American Muscle Car Show when they did a 1/2 hour program on the Cougar? About the car and the clubs everything about them.... If you ever get a chance to see it i think you may be interested with it. They talk of how the Mustang lovers stole and stripped to death the "poor Cougar" to build there mustang, Very tight group of folks in the Cougar clubs, i have that show somewhere on VCR if i can find it and dub it onto a DVD ill be more then happy to do it. IF i can find it. Let me know and ill look if you would want it, its free doesn't cost that much to send one DVD disk.

I found it interesting how they went to extremes to sound proof the floors and doors, build quality very good on them.
