This car show is like no other. On Friday night, over 400 cars lined up to do burn outs on one of the main streets in Libby. The street is about 8 blocks long with a turn around on each end. You stop, burn your tires or just cruise through then stop and burn them again, all the way down the street and back. Most everyone did a burn out. Some where dramatic burn outs and some where mild. Most dangerous thing I ever seen. People lined on both sides of the street watching the cars do the burn outs and not 1 policeman anywhere. The cops gave them the street to do whatever they want for 3 hours. I couldn't and didn't want to imagine what would happen if 1 of the cars got out of control. Anyway, it was also cooler then hell. These aren't all Mopar but cool none the less.. Enjoy

Then they did a burn ut contest Saturday. They would burn the tires until they blew...

If you have never been to Libby Montana for the "Ignite the nights" car show, you should. It is awesome...

love the 70 RR and the early ford pu with the Buick bed and a lot of other nice rides thanks :headbang:

The last picture is of my friends wife covered in rubber from the smoke. It drifted right into the bleachers. Then, the dip stick with the fire hose, drenched the crowd with water.. It felt good but then we all had black streaks down us from the rubber.

Looking for a Red state to move to...looks like I'll put Libby on the check out list. Thanks for sharing the pixs.

Like no other is right. Someday I will be there to contribute to the smoke! List it next year in advance.

Sweet pics, thanks for sharing. I will have to go next year for sure.

That's just plain crazy dangerous, look like fun too.

I burn the tires every day I drive the car. Event sponsored by Schwabbys no doubt..LOL Ah the smell of burning rubber
