I have the firecore/summit distributor and the Rev-a-nator ECU. They have conflicting wiring connectors. I'm trying to figure out how to wire it and does it make a difference on the 2 wires how they're oriented? Thanks

If you are talking about the two magnetic pick up wires inside the distributor, it shouldn't make a difference. It's just a trigger.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for.

Yes it does matter how you connect the wires. If you look closely you'll notice that they are color coded inside the distributor and I would think they would go that way. Don't know why your using a Revinator, Firecore is capacitive discharge and can go directly to the coil. Even better yet, junk the Revinator and go with an electronic coil with way higher output.
