......... and I want to issue an apology.

In case anyone takes offense to some of my posts (past, present & future), they were/are/will be done with the intention to inform and entertain others on this forum, which I personally believe is the best Mopar forum on the interwebs. I have tried my best, whenever possible, to be helpful to others here by answering their questions and posting topics with what's going on with my projects in the hope that people here will find them informative.

Many times, I get as much from blabbing about the projects as you might get from reading and responding to them. I am not a facebook or Twitter/X guy. THIS is my only social media stuff that I do.

I do understand that on some occasions I do get carried away, and yes, sometimes the self-filtering part of my brain doesn't work as well as it should, but no harm is/was ever intended. BUT, that all said, there is also a small minority here who are completely void of understanding my brand of humor and/or any criticism. Sarcasm can be hard to detect online as well as in person. That is the reality.

This forum is made up of all types of personalities and I don't expect everyone to get me, but I mean no harm. I'd rather get a laugh than a scowl but in some cases, my efforts are misguided and get a reaction that wasn't my intention. Sometimes I am slow to understand that what I think is funny is sometimes found offensive by others.

The Moderators here do a great job and I appreciate all that they do. I don't put any blame on them, they are obligated to keep the peace for the sake of the whole forum and are compelled to consider all complaints that come in. In this age we are now in, a voice has been given to the reasonable folks as well as the types that you just cannot please no matter what you do. Dealing with that is something that I just couldn't do so thanks for that.

To conclude, I would like to again offer my most sincere apologies to everyone here.

Carry on.

Nicely worded, you should be in public relations when you're not allowed to be on here. :)

How does that Aerosmith song go....".I'm living on the edge!" When I hear that song,I change the words to "I'm living with a wedge, when I really want a Hemi"

Must have been a doozy this time, eh?

I still think there is something amiss with that left tail light. Fix that before resuming the Bromance.

I think that's just the angle. My '70 looks weird from different angles as well, even though I managed to find the "right" bulbs for the inboard sockets...

Oh, and welcome back. Forgive me, didn't even know I missed you ;) Nothing wrong with being politically incorrect, as far as humor goes. Keeps peeps on their toes!

I had help from a benevolent member who shall remain nameless until he chimes in with approval.

I live by the mindset you only know you are going fast enough when you spin out, you know you are on target when people put you on "ignore", and you are willing to accept the cost of stating your mind even if a ban follows.
My track record is rather solid on all three, and I suspect it will remain so. Welcome to the club? :D

For those who value popularity, go back to HS.

Not sure what you "said" but I doubt it was that bad. People get ruffled easily now days.
You can get animated-sounding on occasion but this is the internet and people are people, wish the easily offended group didn't need a filter like elementary school kids or some thing.
The mods must either be busy or very prompt, I don't see many heated arguments on this board. Of course, I tend to stay out of a few areas that lend themselves more to it I guess.

Our freedom of speech is slowly dwindling away, unFortunately we can’t always say how we really feel without offending anybody.

The fine line is whether there is intent to offend and that often can be uncertain, but my experience of human nature, nothing upsets a person more then being found in error on a point, which often makes one publicly face their own shortcomings, and a person angered by that situation, the first thing that goes out the window is, decorum, and the slippery slope begins.

Better skills at saying how one feels can mitigate the perceived "offensiveness" of the situation, but that doesn't change the fact most people hate facing a shortcoming, rather than using it as a learning experience.
