Ok, I know they suck, but I'm not building a car to compete with John Force, so can someone tell me what this shifter is? Seller says its a 67 GTX console shifter...I'm not using a console but hoping this type of shifter might move it away from my knee and give me more room in the car....What would be the difference between console vs non console shifters? Pics please if you have them....I would like to stay period correct with my Nov 67 build charger....Hurst conversions came mid 68...could the pics be of an A body shifter?

Yup. Looks like a console shifter. Rebuild it, and they work fine.
