I also have cherished salvage coverage.
Collectible vehicle insurance through Hagerty is the only coverage that offers Cherished Salvage, meaning:
For example your car gets rear-ended and meets the agreed value.
You keep the car.
How much did you have in engine cost? The grill alone on my 65 was 1.700 in shipping and restoration work.

We have 3 vehicles under Hagerty. All 3 have declared value and salvage rights to keep if totaled. Just under $600.00 as of last renewal. Can’t complain too much. They covered our Hearse when nobody else could understand it is not a commercial vehicle!

Has anyone found anything that has went down, food, car prices, the price of a 2x4 or the price of the house to use it in or the interest rate to buy the house. You can shop till you're blue in the face, welcome to the new world. Wait for next year.............. I found one thing that's went down, C/D rates.

I have no idea how you got it so cheap.. they wanted $650 for me for 20k... might be location though.

I get my cheap rate based on the extremely low payouts on lawsuits in my area, which was one of the reasons I left private practice over four decades ago. I also carry a seven figure umbrella liability policy for $160 per year. I put this in place after jury verdicts starting hitting that amount with some regularity. When I was in private practice, the record was $300,000. At that price point, I calculated I could make more money driving a truck, so I did.
