Is this insanely cheap or a scam for upper ball joint?

I'm just curious as why, suddenly, everyone is just ignoring all the negative reviews over the last 10 years of Moog suspension parts? Did anything change?

I'm calling unfair discrimination.
Was able to "order" at good price via incognito mode. Logged in to pay and then.
It was in red fonts too. How insulting.
Then page refreshed and lost the checkout with them in there.
Incognito no longer shows the price.

Sorry, MOOG K772 Front Upper Suspension Ball Joint for Dodge Challenger can't be shipped to the address you selected. Please remove the item or select another address.
Kind of like my incognito experience. When I last posted about that I put two more in my cart and just left them in there. I go look at my cart today and they are at $15.

Well I wasn't here for that, but I have seen some rumblings in other places. If this thread filled up with alarming posts I wouldn't put them on my car. If it fills up with posts that just says they don't last very long then I might due to the low miles I drive and it doesn't seem difficult to change them.

Don't know what y'all are looking at - still el cheapo on Amazon:

Shenanigans!
When the price went up I moved them to the save for later section in my cart, just looked and the price is back down again, so moved them back to the cart. I'll see later if the price jumps again.

I just now ordered a pair, still for the $3.83 price using the direct link back in this thread.

An interesting comment I read somewhere is that tgese are used in most of the aftermarket tubular upper control arms. Right, the ones that cost $200-$500 per set.

I was talking with a friend about this thread and besides saying something similar he also mentioned that a lot of lowriders convert to the screw in style, not sure if its the actual same part tho.

Yes, that's also in what I read but forgot to mention it.

Ok for science I spilt one open. Any questions - I don't know what an original looks like inside TBH.

I bought a pair and they look great to me just like I remember them back in the day.
Thanks for the tip.
And I bought tie rods and they look fine also.

Someone mentioned they might have plastic inside, are there any plastic components?
I said that based on a lot cut open by a popular YouTube channel.

Amazon description says, "
  • PROBLEM SOLVER GUSHER BEARING -- Metal-to-metal design provides strength and allows grease to flow through bearing surface for reduced friction and long life"

At the bottom under a concave stamped steel part there is a plastic or urethane piece (also concave on the top).
