well it's a good Friday. the 65 went in the booth this afternoon. doing final prep and I should start painting tomorrow. here's some picts from today. the one trick I've learned is take some old brake shoes and place them behind the rear wheels and in front of the front wheels so your air hose won't catch under the tire when painting. a sudden stop and it's too late.runs and lots of them!! I also hook a jumper cable to the chassis and to a ground rod for static. after 2 years it's going to be painted finely!!! next is the interior. :headbang::hello2::VB toast: 012.jpg011.jpg010.jpg009.jpg008.jpg007.jpg006.jpg005.jpg004.jpg003.jpg002.jpg001.jpg

Putting that final coat of paint on really is a magical experience. All the best for a sweet gun finish. :headbang:

Very cool and exciting ! ! Love the trick with the old brake shoes - gotta add that one to my list . . . here's to a great finish ! !

nice! That Grill in the Trunk doesn't belong to the Car, right?! Looks like a 65 Fury Grill to me.

Glad to hear this. Ron

Looking forward to seeing the finished job. Good luck with the spray!
