It's Not The Economy, Stupid

Right out of Vo-Tech school, I took a part time "PC repair" job with IBM (yes, IBM).

They had me ride around for a week with a guy who was 6 months from retiring (in his personal vehicle).

The second week on the job, I was given a call to work on an AS400 mini-computer mainframe at a bank that had a guaranteed 4 hour service agreement.

WTF? No one thought that was a bad idea?

Here, Here

I'm just glad I'm retired and don't have to mess with the morons that I had to deal with on nearly a daily basis......

Here, Here, I'm with you on that one, I'm kind of glad I got out the construction business {Very customer service oriented, I dealt with a large automotive dealership group 125 strong, on the west coast, as a consultant, facilities manager & contractor} until the late 90's, well mostly got out of it anyways, the 60-70+ hrs a week, constant calls buy dealership owners & physical jobs, wore me out, that's why I got into the Golf business, I'm only 52 & not really old enough to retire completely yet...
