Jim Beam Factory On Fire!

Don't they also produce Maker's Mark and Knob Creek there? I believe they are Beam subs.
Yep, Beam Suntory Inc. :usflag:

Maker's Mark use to be under Hiram Walker back in 1980's (?)
before that HW era, it was a small boutique label, still good
HW sold out the brand/s to Beam Suntory
I think in the 2000's
don't quote me :drinks:

I'm not sure the linage/history of Nobb Creek,
I just like to sip/drink it, occasionally

Sad to see their loss. I consumed many a glass of ‘Beam back in the day. It was an ok whiskey, for the commonly available brands. Way better then the grossly overrated JD. I switched to Wild Turkey when I started reading Hunter S Thompson. Good enough for him, good enough for me. Now, if I drink whiskey at all it’s one of the limited run ones.

Just had a Beam on rocks. I prefer JD. But this is all I can do for them folks.

Evans has just the right burn....I told you Jim Beam had too much!! Now look!

Makers Mark is its own distillery. Small in comparison to Jim Beam. I’ve visited several of the bourbon manufacturers on the bourbon trail. Makers by far is the best tour in my opinion and was my preferred bourbon.

I went out an stocked up. Jim Beam Single Barrel is really good, got a bottle of JB Black Extra Aged and Buffalo Trace.

Too many bad experiences with Jack and Jim as a kid.

Throat automatically closes if I even smell it now.

Several years ago the Segrams distillery near me burned.

Blue/white flame you could see for miles and miles even in daytime.

Looked like a star on land.

They rebuilt, though and you can't tell by looking.

Kind of unbelievable to me that a place like that didn't have a better fire suppression system in place....
