John Force crash

I heard they were tying the body's down on the FC so they don't blow off and end up in the stands or elsewhere. I noticed his body didn't blow off when it exploded. More than likely why he took most of the impact. Just sidelining here.
Yup, many people talking about that

looks like his eyes are open here on July 7th...

Reading that last article, doesn’t make sense

Updated on the 18th but talks mostly about the week just after the crash

Nothing new

Found this from a few days ago

"The team reports that he is "responding positively to treatment" at an undisclosed rehabilitation facility."

Agree.

Update: NHRA Great John Force Leaves Rehab Facility

I have a bunch of pics of my daughter with John, too, Steve. And a lot of other drag racers. Good memories. We went to the US Nationals in 2009. We had gotten to know Hector Arana Sr a little bit at that time, and he won that race. Afterward, we were hanging around the winners' circle and Hector handed the Wally to my daughter and asked her to hold it while he was doing something for a few minutes. I have some great shots of that.

That didn't sound like a retirement speech to me...

I don't know at what level, he will sooner or later come back at,
but the sport is better with him there, in it, even if just an owner...
I'd like to see him drive again, if he has the faculties to do it safely...

NHRA needs to get their heads out of their collective asses & solve the body issue
so someone doesn't get killed because an unsafe & really bad rule
for tied bodies down "CRAP" :BangHead:

I hope he does comeback at Las Vegas to spectate, watch
Jack Beckman in his (John's) car, helping play blocker
& running up the points too
also to watch Austin Prock family/team 'Prock Rocket', killer pts lead
(driving like a champion he is), kicking *** in Robert Hight's car
(both of these guys need to be signed their own fulltime rides, in the not so distant future)
not to mention watch his youngest daughter Britney Force in her Top-fueler
& smoosh :asskiss:the sponsors

You can tell he's having problems with his thought process. I'd seriously doubt he ever races again. He's just as valuable as a team manager. Thank God he's alive and recovering.

I know they say it's to protect the fans, but most (or all) of the bodies I saw let loose before that rule, mostly shot up into the air and landed on the track.

Good to see the champ is getting back up and running.
