Let's keep the personal attacks between members out of this please.

I am sure that there a re a lot of members who have been wronged or burnt by Kim, but until she/he comes her to explain what is going on, it is difficult to have a "Wall of Shame" thread name her/him outright.
Yes, I have read a lot of hard-luck stories and complaints over the years, and I have seen the pathetic replies, but that still does not give us the right to publicly abuse a person.

This is in the Public domain, and as such we do not want to open ourselves up for any lawsuits. :thankyou:

@Passion4Mopars

Now she has been formally invited to defend herself although I don't know her last login info.

Just to balance out the discussion here:
I had Kim redo my wiper motor very late 2014, and I received it back in January of 2015. It looked great and worked great, and still looks and works great today. See post 475 from the thread below. She also posted some pictures on page 23 too.

Of course, that doesn't mean that others have not had issues, just that in 2014/15 I received good work with a fast turnaround.

Just got mine back. Took a long time, but looks great.

Why are all the plated pieces painted and the housing?....So you paid her a lot of money for a incorrectly restored part?

The CAD on the housing doesn't look right either.....Also the flat head screws on the CAD housing are not correct

I cannot believe people still send her stuff to do incorrectly.....

I would highly suggest to remove the end cap and make sure their are no glass beads in it....

The link below shows what one done correctly looks like, functions right....Ohh yeah the guy who did it communicates well and provides stellar service......

Hey guys just thought I would post my recent experience with Kim.

After reading all the negative stuff about Kim on here I was a little leary, but I figured I would give here a call, since I was planing on going to Florida for a family trip and would swing by in person to pick up my motor.

Shipped my 1968 charger 982 motor to Kim this past January 12th along with two other fairly rough cores and a spare 3 speed switch I had and a a body #72 link arm to help lower the cost of the rebuild. Last tuestay I stopped by her house to pick up my motor. I was impressed to see an older lady doing this kind of work. She has a nice little work shop setup in there. Lots of motor seen at different stages of rebuild, must have been 40 or so motors. When I was there she had just received a fresh batch of cylinders from the plater and they all looked very nice. So hopefully some of you guys will be getting your motors soon. Mine looks great, yes the switch plate was painted and not plated on mine, but she did tell me about it on our phone conversation and I was OK with that. THe motor looks awesome and works perfect. She was very fair with me.

What I sent her..
My motor working but rough 982 motor, along with a seized 1970 116 motor and very very bad seized mid 70'S Franken bolt motor. Also sent her a 1969 3 speed wiper switch and an A body # 72 link arm which I had no use for. Plus 200$ paid at pickup.

What I got , a nice rebuild. It was assembled in front of me and tested. She also installed my AC wiring in the connector along with new terminals and connectors, since mine were partially melted. Anyhow very happy with it. The core 116 motor I sent her was rough but she will be able to use most of it, the franken bolt motor was taken appart and she showed me it was garbage and could not do an even trade of parts and cores for my rebuild, she said it would be a 100$ difference, I was so please with what I got in return I decided to give her 200 bucks.

Again, not defending anybody here just letting you guys know the service I received.

first try call Jerry 1-386-215-7764 with a florida phone number I guess...

Texas Bee sorry to hear that you are not getting a reply, $325 and a motor could be considered 3rd degree grand theft in florida which falls under the same statue as stealing 2,000 pieces of fruit or more, a first extinguisher, ammonia, and any commercially farmed animal...
I am sure she will turn up though, hopefully all is well and it is not a health issue or worse.

These are the risks we take doing business with small out of home businesses that are not with in driving distance and all over phone and through mail. I sent a $9400 rifle to a barrel smith in Oregon, he suffered a heart attack 2 weeks later and sadly passed away, luckily he was a licensed FFL and my rifle was returned, he hadn't done the work yet, and it was still in the box I shipped it in. I did have to fly to oregon to retrieve it though, which wasn't a huge deal because I was planning to pick it up in person anyway, we had a hunt booked and I was picking it up for that hunt...

Anyway, not everything works out that well, hopefully, this is just a misunderstanding and she is on vacation or has been called away unexpectedly...

again, good luck, it sucks to be out any amount when it comes to money, but it could be worse, I know guys that lost numbers matching motors by shipping them away for rebuilds...
I need to rebuild mine. Besides the plating, are these really tricky to free up/fix? As long as nothing requires rewinding?
I've got a core i can practice on too. I'll sell that if I get it going
