L78 4speed vert Impala SS I found in the woods near my house.

Cars/property have been on youtube in a few videos, those abandoned places channels.

Treat it like most Chevy guys did to our Mopars- rip the guts out and sell a few things off and scrap it ... then tell everyone you scrapped it and proud of it... I’ve seen it too many times... no I wouldn’t do it or even think about it even though I’m not a GM guy... maybe stuff a gen 3 hemi in I t and a Ford 9” rear for spite ... lol No I’d find it a loving home because I don’t believe in crushing them because once it’s gone it’s gone..It’s neat in its own way and someone would love to have it... save them all !

I think I said "if anyone somehow knows where it is than don't comment it" but yes that is the place and I live like 10 houses away from it.

It doesn't look like anyone is coming back to get that car, drag it out of there before it gets scrapped! Then try to pursue a title for it.

Didn't you do some work on it for the original owner and never got paid for it?

I wonder if you could remove it from the property, send a bill for the tow, then file a lien for non-payment.

Something just doesnt add up here,if they let people in to take videos i would go in n search thru house n look for any registration on it or check car n if its worth it haul it out of there.

probably no floors left on those convertibles. But still good parts.

Go over there ahead of time, and get the car on four good tires, then go over just before dark and get it loaded up on the trailer, and get it out of there.

They don't "let people in" you have to climb a rusty gate or get there by kayak via the lake. I did some digging and the current owner of the property is a old man old enough to be the original owner of the SS but I doubt it. He might want to much money for it but it's worth a shot.

It would take a good size kayak to return with the car!

There's a paved driveway leading right to it. It just has a chained metal gate. I was just saying that they don't just let people go there but there is no security and it is easy to get to. Covid masks make it easier.

This thread now needs some Dueling Banjos Deliverance music.
