Great idea, check the property appraiser site and then see if you can buy the tax cert on the property.

If successful, you get an easily contested title, but might hold up log enough to start clearing the land before someone challenges it.

chevy did some odd things too,just like Ma mopar did.
ive seen 4 door impalas with a 427 and a 4 speed from the factory,from that era.

i see the op has managed to track down the owner of the property.
will he be making a deal w him ??
im kinda curious as to how this all turns out,esp for the car.
