Leaky 727

My 727 is leaking from somewhere in the front. I've replaced the front seal but it didn't fix the problem. Could a plugged cooling line or radiator cause it to leak? I would like to fix the problem without removing the tranny again, but that probably isn't going to happen, is it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it coming from bell housing? If so then likely the pump itself if the seal is good...but could also be over filled to the point that it is coming out of the vent hole or cracked TC.
 
x2 on the selector shaft seal. I'm thinking about making a brass or bronze sleeve to go around the shaft, to seal it up tighter. But, it leaks down to the pan rail and drips off in several loactions around the pan. To be honest, I've never seen a 727 that didn't leak a little...

It's coming from the bell housing so I'm guessing it's the pump seal. I put this trans and torque converter and flex plate in because the previous one did the same thing. That torque converter had some wear around the area where the front seal is. That made me wonder if I could have a problem with engine balance (but I don't notice any engine vibrations) or if the cooling lines could be blocked and forcing fluid past the pump seal or front seal. I'm not sure if that is possible since I don't know what areas would experience extra pressure.
 
I forgot to mention could also be the pump bushing as well....
 
This is why they make those seal saver bushings for timing covers-there may be one for your converter snout. That groove around the snout could definitely be your leak.

The groove was on the torque converter that I replaced. The converter in the car did not have a groove when I installed it.
