That ride is gonna be FRIGGIN' SWEET!!!!!!

Yes thats gonna be sweet. What color do you plan to paint it ?? Ron
Its going to be tangerine /copper with a burnt orange interior. I got the matching weatherstipping from Kramer yesterday. Hope to finish prime the engine compartment today. Put the final alignment on the doors and fenders as well. I'll pin the door hinges so I can R&R them during the blocking process.

Please post more pics of the progress. Thanks , Ron

Like everyone else here 62-65 Max Wedge / Race HEMI cars really blow my mind. I was fortunate enough to buy a 64 Polara that is currently on it's way to Melbourne, Australia.

Yes I do really like Chargers and Road Runners but I love the 62 to 65 Max Wedge and Hemi cars. And the Max Wedge was street legal. Hot rod tested a 63 Belvedere 426 Maxie with the low 11.0 comp at 415 HP. With just the exh cutouts open and Cheater slicks it ran 12.69 at almost 112.. Now just think if they had todays tires in 63 ?? At 112 mph it could have run high 11's ! To me the Max Wedge cars were about the fastest street legal Mopars of the muscle car era. Now I always thought the 64 Hemi cars were race only and could not be tagged but I have heard a few 64 Hemi cars got tagged and were street driven. Course they made around 200 64 Hemi cars and they built about 2150 Max Wedge cars in 63. Ron
